How All Ironed Out handles personal information when you book a service, contact us or apply to join our agent network.
Last updated: 9th May 2026
1. Who we are
All Ironed Out is a trading name used by a sole trader to provide ironing services and operate this website. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy when we determine how and why it is used.
Local agents may also handle booking information needed to carry out your service. Where an agent acts as a separate controller, they are responsible for their own use of that information.
2. Information we collect
- Bookings and accounts: your name, contact details, collection and delivery address, postcode, booking dates, garment or service details, instructions, account identifiers and service history.
- Payments and records: invoice details, amounts, payment status and transaction references. Payment providers handle card information; we do not need your full card number to administer a booking.
- Enquiries, feedback and reviews: information you send by form, email, phone or other contact channels.
- Agent applications and working relationships: application details, service areas, correspondence and information needed to assess or administer an application or relationship.
- Website use: technical information such as IP address, browser, device information, pages visited and cookie or similar identifiers where the relevant tools are enabled.
Please avoid sending sensitive information unless it is needed for your request. If you give us another person's details, please ensure you are entitled to do so.
3. How and why we use information
- To provide and manage services—checking coverage, arranging collections and returns, sending booking updates, invoicing and handling support. Our usual lawful basis is performance of a contract or steps requested before entering one.
- To manage agent applications and operations—reviewing applications, arranging service coverage and communicating about the relationship. Depending on the activity, we rely on steps towards a contract, performance of a contract or our legitimate interests in running the service.
- To keep business and financial records—including accounting, tax, fraud prevention and responding to legal requests. We rely on legal obligations or legitimate interests where appropriate.
- To improve and secure the website and service—troubleshooting, protecting accounts and understanding how the service is used. We rely on legitimate interests where appropriate; optional cookies and similar tracking require the relevant choice or consent under applicable rules.
- To send marketing—where you have opted in or where the law permits marketing to existing customers. You can unsubscribe using the message link or contact us at any time. We will honour objections to direct marketing.
We do not make decisions about you solely by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Who receives information
We share only what is needed with local ironing agents and drivers involved in your booking, and with suppliers who help provide the service, such as website hosting, email and messaging, payment processing, booking software, analytics and professional advisers. We may also share information where the law requires it or to establish or defend legal claims.
Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we use applicable UK transfer safeguards or another lawful transfer route. Contact us if you would like information about a particular transfer.
We do not sell customer personal information.
5. Cookies and tracking
Essential cookies or similar technologies may be needed for security, bookings and account sessions. Analytics, advertising and third-party content may also use cookies or other identifiers if enabled on the site. These can include services such as Google Analytics, social media widgets and marketing tools.
Optional tracking should be controlled through the website's cookie choices before it runs where consent is required. You can also manage cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may affect bookings or sign-in.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose collected. Booking and payment records are kept for the service, accounting, tax and potential claim periods; enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and follow up; agent application records for recruitment and administration; and marketing preferences until you withdraw them, with a minimal suppression record retained to respect an opt-out.
We review older records and delete, anonymise or archive them securely when they are no longer needed. A specific period may differ where the law requires longer retention or a dispute remains open.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, object to its use, or receive a portable copy. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful use. You may always object to direct marketing.
Email hello@allironedout.co.uk to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity. Access requests are normally free of charge, and we normally respond within one month; the law allows limited exceptions or extensions.
8. Contact and complaints
If you have a question or concern about your information, email hello@allironedout.co.uk or write to All Ironed Out, Bull Bridge, Upwell, Norfolk PE14 9HE, United Kingdom. Our data controller registration reference is ZC259120. We would appreciate the chance to address a concern directly.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.
We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
